There are some people here who owe everyone on this board and a few others an apology.  You TL supporters know who you are.  You were over the top with your praise and support.  You contributed to this in your own small way.  Anyone with and ounce of respect should man up and apologize.  People make mistakes.  It is what you do afterwards that shows your true character.

I'll take the time to apologize and admit I was wrong for standing for up TL. Just never thought in a million years this would be the case and people would actually go through this much trouble, but I learn something new everyday. I guess you could say I was blinded by the generosity one had to give, but in the end it was just way to earn everyone's trust. I'm still in shock and awe to be honest as I've never seen something like this go down. Luckily I only invested in a fiver of the pre-release Cohiba 1966 sticks that turned out to be a fairly descent custom roll. I guess the old saying applies "If it's too goo to be true, it probably is".

I'd also like to thank those all involved (too many to list) for the hard work and dedication it took to help uncover the truth. In the end it was you guys who were looking out for the fellow brothers of the leaf. I'm still trying to absorb the amount of information I gathered and learned from you guys the last 72 hours.

That's human nature, they wanted to beleive that what they were purchasing was the real deal. Do you realy expect anyone involved to publish a public apology? Three months from now this will be forgotten and new batch of htf/rarities will show up. Many have stated this is a reoccuring problem. As long as there new folks getting involved there will be many folks out there willing to take them for a ride. :bigup:

I see a few have offered their apologies so on that count I'm wrong. I wonder how many refunds will be coming in though?

Well I have posted what I said in the thread. I said everything there. But agreed at this point.

Like I have said on another board, just cause we both smoke cigars does not make you my brother, we are just two guys who smoke cigars.  That is unless he have actually herfed together, spent time, bonded, shared a drink, or have some connection.  As we have seen it is easy for people to get caught up in the "he is a nice guy, great brother, great deal, etc.".  But at the end of the day unless we have meet and formed some bond they are just another guy who smokes cigars, and this one just wanted to lie and rip people off.  I hope it all works out for everyone and we get back to smoking the real stuff.  Hopefully this sticks will be purged out and not dropped back into the community.

Agree.  And I feel dirty for calling TL a BOTL for accepting a free stick.  I am glad I had enough sense to shut my mouth when the big thread went down, because I had a feeling whole time that something wasn't right, but felt too "new" to call anyone out.  Lesson learned.

TL just contacted me (PM) and offered the refund via PayPal.  I'll keep you guys posted if and when it comes through. :bigup:
