No problem with one common thread Wade.  A "last post read" capability would be good though, particularly when the threads start to get long.

I'm looking to see if there is a way to show the last post first.  the problem with that is that all teh BB packages I looked at that is a global setting and all the posts on the board will show up that way.

You do have the option to go straight to the last page on the thread, so you'll not have to scroll through 5 or 6 pages.

This is actually a portal and not jsut a plain BB so the admin controls are kind of complex just due to sheer number of features.

How do you find out who smites you?  is there a comment section for that?
