Hi All,

I just got banned on BOTL.com.  I started a joke account out of boredom yesterday and I was simply going to pretend to be an old guy "returning to the forum after a 10 year hiatus" as a gag, (a good natured parody of a recurring theme on the site.)  I had not posted yet under the new ID.  Less than 24 hours after I started the alt account, it and my main account acer999 were banned.  I was not aware "alts" were against the rules and was not given any warning.  I was also a member in good standing.  (      . ).  A prolific botl veteran has already vouched for me to the admins and I openly apologize profusely for breaking any rules, I have been active on many forums that allow alts in the past but I will respect any rules on botl.com.  I'm really hoping they reinstate me ASAP, I don't want to fall behind on the 3 word story.  I will keep you all posted.

yes.  if it is between ending the conflict in the Middle East or reinstating my account, please end the conflict in the Middle East.  but if there is time for both, please reinstate my account.  #freeacer999

Yea but if you can get your BOTL account back it would kinda be like the scene in Apocalypse Now when Ride of the Valkyries is playing...

looks like I was un-banned.  is that Wagner I hear playing?  well all righty then, nothing more to see here.
