My parents had a 52 Buick Special as a second car back in the early/mid 60’s. Black, white roof, hardtop with no power anything with three on the tree.
My dad said he would never give it up since the new cars were made like pieces of junk ( now remember we’re talking in the 60’s ) I wonder what he would say today!
I ended up taking and passing my drivers test in this car since I knew it so well. I could have opted out and taken the test in my moms 64 galaxy power everything car but I didn’t.
I wanted to add a photo of a 52 Buick But so far I have not been able to figured out how to add a photo to a post, maybe someone can enlighten me if it’s possible.

1985 Plymouth Horizon - $hit brown that was later nicknamed "The Turd". The car was a manual and the shift cable bushing would slip off the transmission connection if you shifted too hard - you would have to pop the hood, reach behind the engine, and reconnect it, lol.
As far as posting images, I use ImgBB.com - upload your image, select "BBCode full linked" and copy/paste the link.

I learned in a ‘62 Rambler classic station wagon. It was also my first car, purchased from my uncle for $260.
Man, I wish I still had that car today.

1991 Red on red ford tempo...one of the ugliest and most unimaginative designs you could imagine...the fact that i somehow spilled orange juice in the back seat on a 100 degree day gave it the proper stench to fit the car.

Three for me:
1973 Ford Country Squire Wagon complete with fake wood siding.
1976 Ford Window Van (took my driving test with this).
~1970 40 foot box-bed delivery truck from Grandfathers furniture store (stick shift). Fun challenge for a 16 YO newbie, especially backing into a semi dock.

1964 VW Beetle with 4-speed and 34 horsepower....zero to 60 in about 25 seconds and scary trying to merge onto a freeway.
