I cannot see any of the messagees I have sent to others on OLH. I click on the "Outbox" link but the most recent message is from 10 years ago...what am I doing wrong?

Click on Profile in banner above, then go to "Personal Message Options"on the left (under "Modify Profile" header).  There, you can click to "Save a copy.... in Outbox by default."

Also, thanks again for sharing your eggnog recipe on CF.  It was a huge hit this past winter, I learned I like eggnog, and my wife learned she CAN drink whiskey, rum, and brandy at the same time.  Glad I wrote the recipe down before they pulled the plug.

The Eggnog recipe is a classic.

Everybody who told me "I hate eggnog" and tried mine now likes eggnog...amazing!  :cheers:

I like the egg nog from the grocery store that comes out at Christmas time. What's so different about your egg nog? I've never tried it with alcohol added to it.

Would be interesting to hear more about it! Maybe we can have an egg nog thread? Haha

My eggnog is made from scratch with eggs, milk, cream, sugar, bourbon, brandy, rum, and spices.

I'll post the recipe around Thanksgiving for folks to try....it's been a winner on CF for 20+ years.

That sounds like the kind of eggnog I'd like to drink! I'm lucky to have a wife that's really good at making things from scratch. The things she makes... Mshe makes the best damn brownies from scratch you've ever had. Then sprinkles the whole tray with bits and pieces of sees toffee debris and man they're good. I bet she'd be able to whip up the egg nog no problem.

It never has time to age in my house.

I’m having a little bit of a different issue, it won’t let me create a thread. I’m trying to do an ISO but it says “you do not have permission”
