If one were to post " 858sgs f/s 300$" at CF, they would be slammed. I post "smum" and get feedback from a moderater(at cf).also, I don't care how stand up some people are, many here are showing their true colors. I will challenge this guy to produce an invoice of 300$ for a box of 07 sgs. hell, I'm alittle short of money around the holidays, maybe I should not practice what many cfers live by and sell my box for 400. With this capitalistic attitude, there should not even be a scum-bag list...excuse me, I'm gonna go puke :bla:

No, I think it would be an issue if you got them on CF for $200 and tried to resell them at a higher price. I have seen CF members sell stuff on Yahoo or Ebay, but so long as it was not gotten from CF, no problems.

858 SG's are in high demand and worth more than MSRP to me. I didn;t pay any less than $220 for any of my boxes, and some more.I would not pay $300 a box, but if someone wants to sell it at that, more power to them.

agree, but on other major forums flame wars start over this crap. In return, good BOTLs leave and go to CP(or whereever)
It's also funnt as shit to see cf moderators playing on this capitalistic themeby night, CF fan by day I going to go puke again :bla:

First let me make it clear that I have no issue with people selling cigars for a profit at this site.

With regard to CF, what the people at CF legitimately object to is someone who gets HTF cigars through the generosity of other members then turns around and sells them at a profit. That makes the person who provided the cigar a patsy for the profiteer and nobody likes to be a patsy.  That said, there are those at CF who seem to think that nobody should ever sell anything for a penny more than MSRP no matter what; I don't happen to be one of them.

The first box of cigars I posted here when this site re-opened in April was a box of Original Release AƱejo's for $500 I think. That's about 2.5x what I paid for them, but that is what they are worth today (8 yrs after their release I think).  I did that to get people's attention when the place re-started, and I decided I was never going to smoke them.  Personally I don't sell cigars. I've had this site since about '99 or '00 I think and I've never sold stuff before.  I've got lots of rare stuff that I've picked up over the years at 4 CFC's and other events that would probably fetch a good price, but so far I'm still hanging on to them.

All that said, any cigar you own is yours to sell for whatever you can get. As for your box of 858SGs, sell it if you want to.  If you found them and bought them without the help of someone at CF then I'd say that nobody there has a anything to flame you for.  If you want to sell the box for what ever the market will bear.  If they do flame you then harden up and deal with it.

Damn.  Great sticks but not $300.  I was getting them for $8 a stick at my B&M when they had them.  Bought every one they had and was happy to do so at the $8 per.

858 SGs are going for $300 per box?!?!  Wow, I remember when you could buy them for about $5 per stick!  They're good but not worth anything near $300 IMHO.
