Feedback etiquette?

Post by cmitch »

I purchase a lot here. Very seldom sell. I always leave feedback with an exception if I regularly purchase from the same person. I have bought from several individuals here and I religiously leave positive feedback on good transactions but never seem to get the benefit of reciprocation. Is this becoming a common thing here?

The best is when you have a deal and the other party is new and asks for you to leave feedback; and you do.  They leave nothing for you... Happened to me more than once..

No...the best is when you have a couple smooth transactions and someone leaves good feedback...then down the road they edit it because of a personal disagreement that has nothing to do with the transaction.

I don't ever consider feedback unless asked to leave it or if i get a message from a name i don't recognize.  I appreciate the feedback system for that last reason and I appreciate the people who do leave feedback.  I leave it when asked.  It's not a contest though- a newbie just needs a handful of comments, that's it.

I get on the forum mostly on tapatalk, and I don't know how to view or leave feedback on tapatalk, so i do have to wait until i can get on a computer.

I always check about a week after any deals to see if someone took the time to leave me some feedback as a seller, and if they do, I reciprocate. I have had a few people ask me for feedback to be left before they have left me any, which I always do too.

I've made it a habit to try and always leave some type of feedback on every deal. ( I may forget one here or there occasionally and apologize if I have)
I believe it's the right thing to do not only for the individual you are leaving it for but for the entire board in general.
If it's someone that I have not dealt with in the past but feel confident about going forward with I  let them know I did leave some for them and will make the request for a return when they have the time.
