Machine made Cigarillos

Occasionally I like to have a quick little smoke.
Has anyone tried the Montecristo Puritos or Trinidad Shorts?
Considering getting a pack of each with my next order and am curious what others have thought of them.
This vendor also has Cohiba Shorts, Partagas Chicos and RyJ Puritos if anyone has tried any of these also.
I'm tending to lean towards the chicos and puritos due to the larger size.

I bought (and resold) some of each of them. Consistently, the only cigarillos I enjoy are the Cohiba Shorts and Trinidad Shorts. None of the other Puritos, Chicos, et cetera taste good to me. Looking forward to trying the Monte Shorts when they become more widely available.
A note - at $1.25+/ea, for 10 minutes of smoking time, none of these are a decent value, IMO. I'd rather get RG Panetelas Extra for ~$2/ea.

Thanks for the opinion.
I'm actually already planning to get some RG Panetelas Extra with the same order.

I've smoked a lot of the cohiba shorts and party chicos and I prefer the chicos. I would also prefer a rg panetelas over either. But I have to say I also would take an ashton senorita or ashton half corona instead. Half corona being my preference. I like the connecticut the best and I have never had a bad one.

Got my first box of RG Panatelas Extra a few weeks ago. Thought perhaps they could replace the PL Montecarlo's (that have seeming turned into unobtanium) as my "go to" quick smoke. But there's a problem: these little sticks are hard as bricks, barely light, won't draw. Question is, how do you enjoy them, dry box them for a few days? What flavors I could discern were good, but it would be a better smoke if it had a decent draw. Any advice will be appreciated.

I store and smoke everything at 65% and very rarely have draw problems. I never dry box. I have a Perfecdraw tool but probably only had to use it 5 times in a year. HSA quality control is a joke and these are low-end sticks but I actually haven't had a bad box of these so far.

I agree with you on those panetelas. I still have a few boxes in the humidor though because when you get a good one it's really a decent smoke.
Whenever I grab one that's like that I'll take some warm water and rub a little bit all over the wrapper and give it a good hard massage after the wrapper softens up a bit. Works for me usually. Except for this morning on the way to work I chucked one of these panetelas out the window because it just wasn't cooperating with me.

Just to update and participate in my thread, I received 2 boxes each of the Montecristo Puritos, RyJ Puritos and Partagas Chicos with my last order and have been very pleased with the Montecristos and Partagas, but found the Ryj's fairly bland so likely will try the Trinidads instead next time I order more
