Looking for opinions on the Trinidad Media Luna. I love the Reyes and Coloniales and would love to try more of the Trinidad line, but my vendor only has boxes of 12and they cost about 2/3rds of my monthly Cigar budget, so don't want to drop the coin on a box without a little input.
Thanks

I absolutely love them. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. I prefer them over the Vigia too.

I have posted about these on several forums I belong to and have been getting about 50/50 good vs. Bad responses.
A very common reply mentions that they require several years of age to be good, otherwise they suck.
Was yours aged, and if so how long, or did you smoke them young?
Thanks for the input,
Sean

They only came out in 2019 so how anyone can claim that they are good with "several years of age" is beyond me. I tried them a few times, most recently with El Laguito factory code. They ranged from "terrible" to "decent" for me but I greatly prefer Vigia over them and those are cheaper to boot (most of the time anyway). I really don't see a reason why the Media Luna even exists. I'll take a Reyes over them any day and twice on Sundays. YMMV

I honestly didn't know that they just came out in 2019. Very much appreciate that info as I'm now obviously skeptical of those who said they require aging.
Very good to know
Thanks for your input
