Johnny O La Reina

Picked up a sampler a while back and was so impressed I grabbed a bundle of La Reina. FOTT they looked great. Dry boxed for about 36hr and lit one up. Construction was impeccable. Easy draw, voluminous smoke, perfect burn that I never needed to touch up. Smoke was very smooth and easy to retro all the way to the end. Stronger nicotine than I expected and kind of caught me off guard. I wouldn't hesitate picking up a 5er to try. Top notch, as always!

They are truly great cigars. The finish on them is long, rich and quite complex. I’ve smoked at least 10-15 in the past 2 weeks

While they appear to smoke well right now, I bet they will be something else again with 5-10 years more on them.

Totally agree. These have the legs to go the distance.

But can I keep my grubby mitts off of them?  That is the question.

Same thing I'm wondering!  Might just order more to age.

That’s the problem, but I solved it by ordering more! Buried a couple bundles, and a couple to smoke now. They really are great cigars. That sweetness, richness and increasing strength makes for a wonderful combination.

These truly are amazing. I don’t care what anyone else thinks, the La Reina are the best custom I’ve ever ordered. John has found the perfect niche.  These are excellent.

I'm glad to see others agree with me. Thought it was my imagination. Smart move is to pick up some more before they disappear. Aged these will really be amazing.

I have not tried this particular cigar, but I have been impressed with all of Johnny’s EL cigars I have sampled.
