Are these worth $159?

I have a pair of these and they are not for the audiophile. If you ate looking for great sound I would suggest looking elsewhere, however, the lack of cord is wonderful. They do sound better than the original iPod headphones. It might be best to wait for the new version coming out soon.  :bangin:

Very convenient, easy to use. If you want $500 audio quality, probably not the best option.

Best EarPods i have used for making and receiving calls.  I have the new ones ordered also

I was skeptical when I got mine but fell in love with them almost immediately. Sound is very good for being small and wireless.

Convenience and ease of use is top notch.

Old thread but I can’t live without mine.  Putting your phone to your ear for calls is for plebeians.

Put off buying because of numerous young ones wearing in every direction; but have heard nothing but good things. Newer news stories about the battery kicking the bucket in the 1st gen already. A few very convenient years for 159$? Worth it

Have both regular air pods and air pod pros. The pros are far superior with the noise canceling feature great in a clamoring environment.

Those features are there. However the sound quality seemed exactly the same. Also didn’t like having to have the iPhone 10+ to enable the features in the Pro.

Therefore I bought the latest version of the AirPods for $129+tax
