No "melt-down" over at FOH but some straight and true words on "seconds from El Laguito" :

Billy Blogs or Larry Loco custom cuban robusto/El Diablo, El mango.....I couldn't care less. Good luck to them.

However it is a very big step to saying something is an El Laguito product, seconds or otherwise.

There are a host of operators who have done it over the years (from the US/Canada/Cuba/EU).  "Behike seconds" and the like is straight up misleading if not fraud.

Good cigars? sure. Behike? no.  [/i]

I read the posts on FOH as well. He basically says Johnny O is full of shit. Says there's been no Esplendidos and Siglo VI for a year but yet somehow, Johnny O has them. Good read.

Spot on. Good laugh over at FOH over JO's claiming EL "seconds".

I have bought from Johnny O and I don't want to put words in his mouth but I believe he said there are no seconds at EL. That they would be broken down and re rolled. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, it seems a lot of the dialogue over at FOH was around the "EL seconds" claim which was verbiage used by the original poster on the thread.  I just checked JO's most recent listing, and you are correct, the word seconds isn't listed anywhere on the listing, it simply states:  EL-these are unbanded bundles of 25 from the factory.

i was at EL less than 1 year ago and they were rolling Sig6.  Took a vid, cool experience.

The FOH comment reads much more as a shot at the guy listing BHK and Siglo 2nds, not JO because his taste more like El La Chico.

I think he's pretty much taking a shot at anyone who says they get sticks from EL. Not just Johnny O.
