Can anyone share their opinion on them? Are they very similar to the Trinidad version?

Can confirm. Identical to banded ones I've had AND as with the Trinidad, they need very little age to be approachable. I'm not aging any - just smoking through them.

The vitola is a bit silly, though since right when it starts hitting its stride, it's done!

Are they underfilled like the banded ones as well? ;)

Yes, somewhat, although a recent six pack of the banded ones seem much better in the bunching/filling department and the recent ones from JO seem to contain more tobacco.  Maybe with the bumper crop of tobacco recently, they're going to be less stingy with the quality 'backer?  We'll see.
