Any experience with Ramon Allones Club Allones Edicion Limitada 2015?

My favorite cigar in the last 4 years.

I don't like them. Too many fireproof wrappers.

Thats the last box of ELs I bought (and may be my last box of ELs ever)... I have noticed more and more fireproof wrappers and a flavor profile similar to what I don't like about Nicaraguan NCs.  I never really checked mine out so I don't know if they have dark/oily wrappers, but if they do, they will be for sale here eventually.

Have not heard a ton of good stuff about these. The portion or people that like them seems to be very narrow.
I’ve had probably 4-5 and they are average at best.

I probably oversold them to myself because the 2011 was, IMO, a killer cigar and these, on appearance are very similar.

Looks like mixed reviews.
I liked the 2011 as well Giver, and was hoping for good things.
Sounds like at least worth a try.

This.  A lot of folks (at least via online chatter) seem to love these, but the sole box I bought seems to be suffering from being underfilled (all 3 I've had thus far). To me, as with most EL I've tried, they take a familiar flavor profile and make it taste Nicaraguan.  The thick, ugly wrapper frequently gives me mondo burn problems, which your average Cuban wrapper does not.  Never mind that I can smoke 2 RASS for the price of one of these.

Still, if a lot of people like them, YMMV.

I have only had a few ELs and can't even really remember how they taste, but I'm willing to give them another try. I'd like to find a sampler with several different vitolas. They clearly are detested by a large swath of the CC smoking community, but those who love them love them...

I agree with the fireproof wrapper comment and these are also have a huge nicotine kick to me
