I'm curious - in 2014 on the No2's was Monte using the new style bands with the gold, or the older brown and white bands?

Gold bands were implemented in 2013, so a 2014 box should use the newer gold embossed bands.  NOW, let me say that in 2008, when the last Monte band change occurred, the factories continued to use the older, non-embossed bands until they were all used up, so there were many boxes rolled in 2008 that used the 2007 and older band.  Just another Cuba being Cuba thing.  So, it may be possible to get a box of early month 14s with the older bands.

IIRC, I had a 15ct. box ARG 2014 with the old style band. I don't have this box any longer to double check.
