I work at a college and I see these kids all the time. I'm not quite sure how they came to be this way, but all I can figure is through bad parenting and technology. They aren't all this way. About 75 percent of them are though. They are some of the most lazy sons of bitches I've ever seen. They would rather take zeros, fail the course, then file appeals when they realize it's over for them. They come in whenever the hell they want, bitch and moan about everything.
We're encouraged to have our offices designated as safe spaces too. And once those who go through the safe space training are finished with it, they all put a rainbow colored statement in their email signature letting everyone know that their office is a safe space. At least it's voluntary at this point. Should that ever change they don't want to land in my office!
