CigSid Horrible Communication

Made a purchase from this member, and I realized the next day they were in fact not Cohiba Robusto, but actually Cohiba Siglo IV. Contacted Bill to ask if that was the case and he verified and apologized for his mistake and he would be adding a PSD1 for the trouble. Said he will still send them out that Monday. Monday came, got a text from him saying everything was packaged and I got a tracking #. I kept checking the tracking # throughout the week and it never got updated, always kept saying "pre shipment information sent". At the end of the week I checked my paypal and saw a refund. Member never contacted me or anything as to why this was happening. I messaged him asking what's going on, and he said all the feet were damaged beside 5 that he would send me for free for my troubles along with the aforementioned PSD1. All the pictures leading up to this always showed amazing feet with zero issue. It's been almost a month now with no package. He has contacted me again after a couple days saying he was going to ship out on 5/2, it is now 5/17 and he has not responded to any text messages. I see most people have good experiences with him, but not me. He has done trades since the time of this, but never bothers to text me back. I'm glad I got my refund, but I wanted to bring attention that he's been dicking me around for the past month with no contact to my text messages I've sent. All the while doing other transactions on here in that time frame.

Not what I'm getting at with this post. I'm just stating that he backed out of a paid deal after holding onto my money for a week with no communication. Sent tracking # and said everything was packed and sending off, but after 4-5 days says he looked again and the feet were all damaged?? Shady guy who I do believe sold them for more than what I bought them for. If he were to have told me straight up "Hey man, I made a mistake with the pricing. I'm going to issue you a refund" there wouldn't have been a problem. Especially since they were a different cigar than what he offered (his fault, not mine. I was the one who brought this up to him the next day after I noticed it). I was the one who had to ask what the hell is going on because I saw he issued a refund the day before without explaining what's going on.

I am not taking sides here. Bill is an honorable man. I remember what he did for "La1994" couple of years ago.

I'm less concerned with the "free cigars", but more frustrated with everything that's happened. The constant misleading of information, the lying of tracking numbers, and the wasted time. I don't see it being right for a seller to hold onto a buyers money for a week while thinking "do I really want to sell this for this price or no"?

Sounds like sellers remorse?

I've done multiple deals with cigsid with no issue and know he's a respected member of multiple communities.  Seems out of character for him to waste a guys time.

Leave negative feedback and move on...  you got your refund but the entire way he handled the deal deserves the feedback.
