Old School Olivia Bands

A thread in the TBSR got me to wondering about the bands on the Olivia cigars from a few years back.

I remember the cloth banded sticks that came in those cool rounded boxes.  (Still have a few of those old boxes kicking around.  Always thought they looked sort of neat).

I remember there were also red cloth banded sticks but don't recall the specifics on these, (what wrapper, name of the line etc).  I tend to think they were Naturals but am far from sure.

There was also an ill fated Bold Blend that I remember had a red, band made out of paper.  I remember liking this blend, kind of like the blue label with a little more spice.

I also recall that the Blue bands were later relaesed made out of paper, but I think the blend was the same as the cloth, blue bands. I think this happened in maybe '06 or so.  I believe they also got away from the round boxes at this time.

Questions:

1)  Were the red, cloth bands the Bold Blend or something else?

2)  Did the Bold Blend ever come with cloth bands?

3)  Were there any other blends released with the cloth bands?

TIA for any and all info!

I was just looking into this the other day. I wasn't able to find much, but if you scroll down you will find reviews for both red & blue cloth banded cigars:

I hope this helps some.

Excellent link indeed that answers my questions.  Seems the red cloth bands were indeed the Bold blend!  Thanks for the help jamaj!
