Since its all everyone seems to want to talk about these days, i'll give it a whirl. I dabble with scotch. I have a bottle of eagle rare which isn't bad. Any recommendations for bourbon and rye under $40 that can be regularly had? Gonna pick up 2 or 3 bottles and see how it goes.

I like Bulleit Rye, and it's easy to find as well. Can anybody compare it to Michters?

I actually prefer small batch over single barrel, although I think I am in the minority there. And the four roses yellow label is a great value sipper. Its not complex, but it has a smoothness I appreciate and helps me keep my hands off of some rarer juice in my cabinet.
Give them a whirl - easily my favorite easy-to-find bourbon.
