Do people seriously forget Ben is a rapist and settled with that women to avoid court? Vick should come out and say he is ok being teammates with big ben even the he is a big womens advocate...

Ben wasn't ever convicted of rape, or even sexual assault. How many players do you think would settle out of court, guilty or not, to avoid more media attention? Likely, all of them.

As a Steelers fan, I could care less about the crimes, as both of them seem to have changed paths in their personal lives.

Ben was never convicted and I am pretty sure the whole ordeal ended up being a matter of he said she said.

Swinging your big wang around and telling a chick you were going to bang the snot out of her when you are totally blasted has never been a crime that I know of... is it wrong, yes, is it rape, no.  There are 2 sides to every story, but in the end, there was no conviction.

ya he said, she said.  she claims she said no, he locked her in a bathroom and did the dirty.  settles out of court.  one can only speculate...

so tk, i saw in the box you said you're not a big ben fan, but you DO NOT LIKE vick.  if ben was convicted of rape, what would your stance be?  just curious how the crimes compare in your mind.

If Ben was convicted of rape, he would not be playing football...and it would be even less of a worry for me.  Do the crime, do the time... I would hope.

I am not going to compare animal abuse or dog fighting, to rape (if he was convicted)... those who do either have their own special karma coming their way eventually.

i guess in my mind i see ben as a rapist without a doubt.  not like capturing and raping someone kind of guy, but a hot shot nfl player who's not gonna take a no from some chick at a bar.

Alot of our sports "heros" have that entitled/privileged attitude... and then fuel it with alcohol, and who knows what could happen... I was not there and did not witness what or how things went down, so its all here say to me, from both sides...so this one is on the legal system.  If he did do anything, its safe to say that was his wake up call, and he has been trouble free since this incident.
