Absolutely, I can't tell you how many times I have had people tell me to send them pics of absolutely stunning boxes, then I never hear a peep back once they get the pics...so I write those off as picture collectors or cigar porn peepers.  Some guys just like to look at sticks they can't afford or are part of someone else's stash...I guess.

That's creepy, right? I mean, price is right up front so they know whether they can afford it or not. If something happens, you let the seller know you're bowing out. People just wanting to see pics of what you're selling is just weird.

If anyone is serious about selling something here, they should post pics. It's a little trouble but at least the potential buyer knows what he's getting and the seller doesn't have to filter through pm's to provide what should've been provided to begin with. I prefer to buy from a seller providing pics unless I whole heartedly trust the seller like The Gipper or SRSmiscer. With pics, at least the buyer doesn't get promised 'lots of plume' only to end up with a Cuban science experiment. My 2¢.

I have no problem posting pics, especially for a box that may be sold for 400+... but its just plain weird when you never hear back from the potential buyer after taking the time to personally email pictures of a box or boxes, especially when the box is priced at FMV.

Would anybody trade for or buy a box of Sublimes in the TSBC [i]without[/i] first wanting to see pics?

I guess I'm still not tracking why you don't post pics in the first place?

I am busy... I may not post pics, but I will if asked.  I ALWAYS ship within 24 hours, keep the buyer in the loop the whole time, and if I buy something from someone, I take the time to post feedback and let them know my purchase has arrived.

If pics were mandatory, I would post them, but I don't recall ever seeing in the rules that pics must be posted in a FS thread.  If you look at the entire first page of the TSBC, I bet only 2 or 3 listing have pictures.  Trust your source, and build a reputation, and you don't need to provide proof that your cigars are legitimate or have been stored properly.

If someone wants pics, they can always ask, and I will gladly post them.  Up to recently, it was a pain here (maybe before you arrived)... you had to post the pics to photobucket, then link them into here.  Now that the forums have tapatalk enabled, its much easier and takes seconds from a smart phone instead of 20 mins with a PC and camera to post a pic.

My question to you is even simpler... you have 10 posts, 2 feedbacks for purchases, and not 1 single sale, but you feel the need to question or criticize me and how I go about my business here ?

Sure, I traded my Sublimes with a guy who knows me and has dealt with me and traded before... he doesn't need pics to know the sticks are fine and that there are no issues with legitimacy or storage/aging.  If someone else asked for pics, they would have been provided via email, like I always do, if asked.

What he said. I rarely post pics anymore, but will certainly provide them if asked. People who know me know what they can expect, much like with Tk.
