I smoked a tenderloin in 2014... and it was starting to turn into typical Nicaraguan ashy garbage... I have never had a Nic stick older than 3 years that was really any good or had any redeeming flavors... Nics are meant to be smoked fresh, and that's when they are the most flavorful, and they have not degraded to that dirty leathery flavor that they all seem to become after a couple years.
Also, I think this guy is somehow bidding his own auctions up (or having his buddies help him by bidding them up)... 3 out of 5 or 6 of his items are really high. Over 2k for a box of Federal 90ths ? Really ? More ashy garbage.
It would be nice to find out who that user is here, and give him a good BZ beatdown. Most people here are tolerant to inflated prices... but 2400 for a bundle of tenderloins seems ridiculous, even if Pete rubbed his junk on them.

It would be easier/cheaper to roll some short filler, inside of a couple hundies, and I bet the taste would be about the same.
