I have used El Ligador numerous times for cracks or wrappers that are lifting. works well IMHO

Fruit pectin liquid works great for cracks or torn wrappers. Can get it at the grocery store. Tasteless and burns clean and dries quickly.

What is used when the torcedor puts the cap on? I thought it was a stronger natural "glue" of sorts. Can't recall. Use el ligador myself on occassion. It's ok.

Growing up in Key West I used to watch them making cigars on Duval street. They just chewed a little wad and stuck it on the end!
