Seems the mediocre ratings and reviews are slowing sales of this stuff.

I saw both the 20 and 26 year old all over the place in IN and IL this week. PA still has the 20 3 days after listed.

Waaaaay overpriced for these bottles. May be on shelves for a while. PASS

Got a chance to have PVW 20 side by side with Barterhouse a few times this week... My novice palate actually prefers barterhouse between the two... If I recall I read an article that seemed to point to both bourbons being distilled at the new Blenheim distillery in the same timeframe but with slightly different mash bills.

But again, I am a complete bourbon novice so my palate is probably trash :)

I think the Blowhard is good. I picked up a coupe bottles. The Barterhouse was just ok though.

Blowhard is very mellow, mild, and subtle though compared to the stronger bourbons most people I like. I still prefer Pappy, Sazerac, Hardy, Stagg, etc., but this is a good bourbon that isn't going to cost you a fortune to find on the black market if you want some.
