Another question about Boveda humi pouches

Can you put these things directly on the cigars, or should there be something to keep the bags separate from the tobacco product. The reason I asked is because I smoked a trinidad yesterday that burned uneven for the first 2" of the cigar. It did straighten out, and burned evenly the rest of the smoke. I have smoked several cab's of these and never had a burn problem, Then again they were stored in the original boxes, and I was not using humi pouches.

My content probably redundant to you guys, but I have been using old, antiquated methods of humidifying my stuff, and the newer technology is more stable and simpler. Thank you for your patients. :kissa:

Boveda says you can place them directly on the cigars.

I do, as you may have seen in the picture I posted in your other thread, and haven't experienced any problems

I've done the same without any adverse effect as the gent above stares.  Boveda states this is no problem to do either.  Cheers!

I lay mine on top of a thin piece of cedar. Dunno if it makes a difference. Just something about laying it directly on them, then having an uneven burning cigar....can't get past the thought that it's because the Boveda laying for 2 months directly on it.

Side note...I've really been trying to be more consistent about dry boxing for 12-24hrs and it really does make a difference for me.
