I was going to post this in BZ but it's not really a bitch just more of question I guess.  If it turns into an bitch maybe Wade can move it to the zone.
My question is with all the smart phone tech and high res cameras they come with these days wouldn't it be a better thing to post a pic or 2 of your items you have 4 sale?  Even when I had my little flip phone before my up grade I could take pretty good pictures and it was relatively simple to post pictures from it.  I know it's not an absolute necessary marketing tool for the products we indulge in but it sure would help for us guys that haven't seen every cigar in the world.
I know a few of the sellers do a great job with pics and all and a grand thank you goes out.
Is my wish list too long?  Am I asking for too much? Am I expecting more than I should?

You have two choices to get pictures in your posts.  If you are on your computer you first have to upload the picture somewhere online.  There are a lot of free hosting services...  or, you could use the gallery here at onlinehumidor. 

Then you open the picture in your browser
right click and select "copy image location"
Then either type {img}paste address here{/img}  you have to use [ ] instead of {}
or you can click the second button in the second row in the post window the one that looks like a tiny picture, and it will insert the img code and you just paste the URL in the middle.


Option #2, using a smart device and you are logging in with tappatalk
Take picture with device
select the add photo option
select the photo
post

Tappatalk uploads and hosts and posts the picture all in one step.

Ahhh thats what taptalk does..guess I will have to go there and give it a whirl.

Zone 23...I understand about how technology can be a bite in the ass.  It is the way of the future.  If you have not yet I would suggest you soon learn to operate a smart phone. It will not be long before it is all that is available to us.  I fought it until approx a year ago and now wish I had made the jump much sooner.

Good info on the tappatalk, I haven't used this app yet but I'm going to check it out right now.

I haven't posted pics on my sales and have opted to request an email if someone would like pics. This is because I can easily take a pic with my phone and email it; rather than to take a photo, email it to myself, pull my yahoo up on my laptop, convert the photo to html or url using photobucket and finally use the photo in my post. Just easier to email it, imho.

Some people, live here for yrs and never notice stuff.... :boty:

Left side of the page, above the "donate" button.

This might have something to do with all TL's photos are stored there. Maybe they think it's a place to post fakes.  :nana:
