Board Administration

I want to make clear that I am not here to police trades. I can't because I don't have time. I may go weeks at a time with out access. (like in a few weeks when I'm spending 11 days sailing from USVI to Maryland) If you get stiffed in a trade, then post it, and warn others; however, there is not much I am going to do from the board side. It's up to you guys to police the community. Whether you do that here, or via traders comments over at CF, or wherever is up to you.
Just some stories from the wayback times...
Once upon a time I had an auction board on the site, as a part of that I had one guy who bid $1,000,000 on someone's auction, I got dragged in, people threatened litigation. In the end I don't remember what happened.
I had someone get pissed because they thought that someone else was using their pictures of TT Opus A's in violation of copyright, I got dragged in, again, i don't remember who was involved, but I do remember that it was a PITA.
I can't get in the middle of who did what to whom and what money or cigars is owed where. Whether we always act like it or not we are all supposed to be adults here (you said so in the terms of use) that you clicked. The bottom line is that if you have a problem you handle it. Feel free to bring it here and flame the shite out of each other, but don't ask me to get involved, there is a greater than 99% chance that I won't.
When the retail guys find the site again they and I will have to reach understandings, I may ask for your help when the time comes. Until then, I'm just a post deleting troll in the corner. :bla:
