I was just down there last week... there are 3 decent shops, 2 are called Nicks Cigars, and they have locations in North MB and MB.  There is also a Tinderbox at the Broadway at the Beach.  The staff at both shops were friendly and helpful, but the prices were high... I think there was a 11% tax (6% SC and 5% MB sales/use tax), can't remember for sure, so singles were a little pricey.  Both places I went to had a lounge, but nothing super fancy.  Nicks had a better selection too, and had alot of Opus X's in stock.  The lounges at these places would be about the only place you could stand to smoke mid day, with how hot it has been down there.  There are no places to drink and smoke, that I know of, and I have never seen a cigar bar in that area... if you find one, be sure to let me know.

I have been to MB many times, and I usually just take my own sticks and smoke and walk on the beach every day.  It was blazing hot (highs of 96 to 103 every day), so I did most of my smoking in the early morning, and it was not down into the low 80s or high 70s until after 10pm.

Have a nice trip, the deals on golf right now, are great... most places can be played for about $50 or less if you use a tee time service.

The only golf I know how to play involves a windmill lol. I have been lazy and never bought a herfador so I'll just buy there. Still sounds alot cheaper than NY's 75% tax lol

yeah...thats for sure, didn't know you were a NY'er but I remember Scott saying that he was hanging out with you a couple weeks back.

Definitely hit up Nicks in MB, the shop in North Myrtle was pretty small if I remember both Nick's locations correctly, and the shop in MB had a better selection too.

Have a good trip, and you can always smoke cigars and play mini golf...if its not 96 to 103 degrees like it was when I was there.

You must, I repeat, MUST eat/drink/smoke at New York Prime.  Period.  End of discussion.

They have a small selection of smokes, and prices are up there, but it's a great experience.

Set up like a NYC style steakhouse.  Long and narrow, but plently or room.  Amazing steaks.  Fantastic atmosphere.  Great bar.  You can smoke right at the bar, how it should be.

First time there with my father-in-law and 2 friends after 2 rounds of golf, we all split a full lobster at a table.  Then we moved to the bar to have our steaks.  Washed it all down with tons of great reds.  Then lit up cigars right at the bar for dessert.

Sounds awesome. Sadly I remember setting up steaks and stoagie dinners at Frank's Steakhouse and Keen Chophouse in NYC

At 31-60 bucks for a steak, I am actually surprised they let you smoke there inside the restaurant. I think it was early last year, SC changed alot of their smoking laws, so if you plan on smoking cigars there, and not in a small designated smoking section, you might want to check with them first to make sure they allow cigars at all. I know the Longhorn steakhouse in MB had a full bar, and was a designated smoking area, but they said no stogies. To me, I would much rather smell a cigar, even a bad one, over cigarette smoke. People who have kids and don't smoke cigars get really up tight about smelling smoke while they are eating, and I would too, if I was paying $100 for my meal and the place was filled with cigarette smoke. With the way smokers rights are going away in this country, I would suggest checking first...

Here is the NY Prime's menu and I think their tele is on there too:

They were great times Scott.  I sure do miss those dinners at Frank's!

You can smoke in a couple of strip joints in MB.  Just saying.  ;D
