I never comment on this type of thing as I believe that people can ask whatever for their cigars, pretty simple to not buy them. However, a recent post has a Tat Black jar for $850 and Noella Reservas for $20 each has me scratching my head!! They MAY have been worth the $13 and $8 MSRP when they came out, and MAYBE a little more due to rarity, but at THESE prices? No fucking way. Not to mention that they are past their prime now. $45 for a Tatuaje CG my ass :rotf:

I completely agree with you (on the price and the fact that these are probably past their prime), but someone will end up paying it... as a reference, I looked up a Tat black CG jar on fleabay:

Remember that some people buy to smoke, some people buy to collect. Of course the sticks aren't worth $45/each to smoke, but it's a sealed jar of them, and the jar is valuable on its own.

Just take advantage of these idiots by fronting a load of cash to buy possible collector cigars in bulk at release, store them in perfect condition without touching them, then sell them after a few years for what might be a profit.

I agree though there are a group that do this to profit some full time some part time, we always know because the complain about us bitching about gougers the loudest.

Just smoked one last week and don't think they are past their prime at all.  But at the numbers they are asking........LMAO.
