Bought half a cab of 4 year old Bolivar Corona Extras for $225 from jb, and this is how the box arrived (I cut it open, but this is the way it was packed). A Priority Mail paper envelope to wrap the naked cab. The cab didn't have a lid, but instead newspapers and paper towels were taped down inside the cab to hold the cigars in for the trip from KS to HI over the long weekend. Jb ignored my PM despite logging in a few times today.

If you sell cigars here, don't be a lazy mofo and pack your cigars like this. Even if out of respect for the cigars themselves.

Wow.... I have seen some bad packaging but nothing like that before.

That's just plain laziness and pisspoor way to handle a sale.  Add one more to my personal scumbag list.  Sorry this happened, but thanks for sharing.  Hope the sticks are not too bad.

Surprisingly, only two cracked wrappers and three cracked feet.  I'm hoping the cigars didn't take too much of a hit from not being insulated enough from the elements.  Also, that's mold you see on the cedar sheet, so who knows how they were kept prior to this.

Pretty damn sloppy and careless. Lucky the sticks weren't in worse shape.

Use some common sense when packing sticks that cost 10 bucks a piece. Jeez.

That is just careless, how could anyone expect the cigars to travel well. I think your lucky they arrived as well as they did! ???

Yikes, sorry man.  Worst packaging yet and to top it off some mold on the sheet.  Just due to the carelessness of packaging I am wondering how careless the storage was.  Doesn't seem like he would care much about a 65/65 (or whatever you store them at).  But thats just my opinion.

...my own personal mental scumbag list has grown so much in hte last 6 months, I am going to need to start writing those names down and keeping my own Excel spreadsheet.  :cop:
