BTW, I smoked one of these last night before deciding whether to pull the trigger on a box.

Boy, am I glad I did. This was one BORING cigar. Hardly any flavor changes throughout 1.5 hours. One-dimensional, totally unlike the Reserve version. F**king Tats...so much for consistency!

Forgot to mention the cigar was the 109 Rosado

Once again I ask, how can someone "GOUGE" for a product that is a luxury? We or anyone else for that matter do not have to buy it, it is not gas, food, clothes, medicine, or anything else we need to survive, just a bunch of cigars that we put to ash.  In the end no one has to buy any of these or other cigars we think are too much.  For a 'community', we sure love to fight about it.  This site is called, Premium Cigar Trader but people like to think it is some holy grail.  I'm sure this has been going on since the beginning of cigars and it will continue to go on forever.  If I want something bad enough and it is a price I want to pay, I'll buy it.

I can understand cigars that are still available are charging more, but no one knows what another brother had to pay or what cigars he had to trade to get said cigars.  Not sure why we can't all live and let live, it is only cigars here.  Just walk away and be cordial.

Once again I ask, how is you complaining about complainers somehow better than the complainers you're complaining about?

It's the Battlezone, if you don't like it... stay out.

See what I did there?

Totally agree with this.  I have met close to 100 BOTLs...most from BOTL.org, a few from a couple of other boards.  Some I have met while traveling for work or when I take a little time off, or when they have visited my home town of Chicago.

I understand that price is not debatable in the TSBC (and of course you can't even reply there now), but I still believe that you shouldn't take advantage of another fellow cigar smoker.  Who knows....you may end up meeting the person you "gouge".  If you do, I hope you feel like a heel when you realize you took advantage of a good person.  This thread, and others like it, definitely show the real person...and points out who to you shouldn't do business with.

Unfortunately he will never get it Jere. He does not even see that he is not being just called out for this one instance...he has always been known to flip boxes and will continue to do so. Clunt if you are still reading...there is a difference between a brother and a profiteer...you have time and time again shown who you are. Which sucks because you seem like a pretty nice guy other than this big disconnect. Continue on and make your money buying LE boxes that your "brothers" are actually trying to buy at same time to smoke...not to butt rape others who really just want to smoke them. Once again enjoy the loot...just don't raise an eyebrow when you find out that most people see you as a douche...they are just probably bummed that they saved their pennies in excitement to buy such listed LE only to find out that they were number 11 on a list of 10...and then to see you #10 list that box for 2x a month later...yup...just a tad bit of a slap in the face.

Oh well...carry on...

Its funny how those who disagree with these posts about gouging seem to be incapable of following their own advice.

Your pathetically weak attempt at trying to justify gouging is transparent and only reinforces what has been said about you on this thread.  In your eyes, being lumped into the same category as Clint may seem like a boon, but in the end, all you've accomplished is a permanent staining of your reputation.  Again, BRAVO!

I don't smoke any of the Tat garbage. To hell with a company whose sole purpose is to create blends of such limited quantities that people flip them because everyone acts as though they have to have the next best HTF release from them.
