If you think someone actually bought that box, then you have issues far beyond the scope of the current conversation.  And if everyone is capable of making their own adult decisions, they probably wouldn't be swayed by a lone link in the user comments.

It is wholly irrelevant whether or not someone bought that box or not. I don't think anyone actually did, but again, it doesn't matter. What is relevant is that RyJ Smoker certainly did not.

I don't understand your second point. I'm pretty sure the meaning of what you wrote is that adults aren't persuaded by persuasive information, but again, I don't really understand that.
