After reading through all of this, I do hope that CK does refund all of the money to Brooklyn.  Yes it does suck that you are out $320, CK.  However, you CANNOT expect Brooklyn to accept any of the blame in this.  The package was not delivered to him, and was sent back to Chicago.  It isn't his fault.  There doesn't have to be any rule that says you MUST put insurance on your shipment, especially over a certain value.  Like others have said, it is your decision.  Insurance is for the SELLER'S protection, NOT the buyer.

It is an expensive mistake, but one that you need to accept and learn from.  Everytime I ship, I put clear tape over the addresses....that way they cannot be rubbed off or washed off.

Basically he is trying to make it right but he cant do it in full. He would like to give me the difference in cigars. I don't feel comfortable with this but I am going to accept it.

I have perfect trader rating on here and BOTL, not to mention eBay(probably irrelevant). This is the first bump in the road I've had to deal with, maybe I was lucky for a while I dunno', because I've been B/S/T'ing online since I was 14 years old. Obviously not just cigars, but whatever. I want to make this right, but I don't want to be frowned upon, on these forums, over this one incident I've had. This is what scares me the most! I hope you all can see past this and realize I'm not a shady person to deal with, ask ANYONE I've ever dealt with. Every transaction has been prompt and flawless. Sorry for sending that impression out to anyone over this deal.

And Paul, I partly want to send you some awesome sticks just because, I know you're pissed and believe this is all my fault or whatever, but I promise you it's not. I think you would be happier overall with the HTF's than cash, after all is said and done.

Lol, just through that out there because I've done TONS of transaction on there. I know it doesn't matter.
