Funny, I noticed this too, after the fact. And I looked for negative feedback posted to TL's profile once he was suitably called out. Keep in mind that you can go back and edit your feedback posted for someone, at any time. I would be willing to bet that is exactly what happened.

I dont think you should thus I said why this was not directly at you. Just used your post as an example of what some people here have done. You did not come flinging mud and acting like an ass thus why I said this is not in reference to you. I did not see sam a's post. But once again no matter what hindsight is always 20/20.

Sure, hindsight is always 20/20, but given the track record of those selling fakes before, TL followed the exact same plan. You'll quickly get busted if you wanted to come here selling fake Party Shorts or RASS's and you won't make any money. However, when you come around flashing something nobody else has ever seen before, people flock to it like bugs on a bug zapper.
I posted some ISO threads and sure enough, it flushed TL each time with a response that he had what I was looking for. Someone that has legit cc's in the quantities he was carrying is NOT a casual smoker like most of us.
People like myself would have spoken up long ago were it not for the attitude some FOG's take in ripping new people on cigar boards. I'm not saying it's widespread here, but I know for certain there are people who would have jumped my ass had I started this very thread in February on my suspicions alone.

Yes, and those were started after a bunch of other shit over PMs and phone calls. This is an instance where OLH was last to the party, and thankfully Hutch laid it right out on the table.
Also Gary thanks for all your help behind the scenes with this as well, no way we would have made all the LA connections without your research.
One last thing- we have reached consensus that Rama/TL will officially be added to the scumbag list. A comprehensive presentation of this 'saga' and the cigars in question will be included with his entry.

TNT Cigarguy, Johnny-O is the real deal who knows more about situations like this than most anyone else here. For what it's worth.

Right I have smoked his sticks before. Thus why I said not directed at him. I put in the post not at John. Just was something I wanted to say. I have nothing to say about John except he has been easy for me to deal with. Once again which ive stated 3x in other posts now thus I said not at John.
My point was really that some people handled this horribly on both sides of the coin. Some have realized they have and others have not. While others handled this amazingly. That was my point there. Ryan came out and apologized for example but others who acted like just of big of an ass(sorry Ryan not trying pour salt in the wound here you know I got your back). But they have not come out and said one single thing for their actions knowing full well they should apologize.

Why pay $100 on a therapy session when you can spend $25 on a cigar? Whatever it is will come back; so what, smoke another one.

I just went to a members profile, to a trader's comment I made in 2009. Within that comment, at the end, is a link [edit comment].

Fyi, I smoked one of the boli regionas last night and it tasted right. This lends itself to the bait and switch idea. I would guess some of the other regional stock and production stuff was also legit, to encourage sales of the dubious products.

For sure there was some bait and switch. With the profit margin he was making he could afford to do this. Look at all the time they put into the websites and creating this false identity. Myself and a few others for sure had some to get the taste right with the bait and switch. Why wouldnt they do this at this point anything is possible though
