I bought the Boli Brits from Chilibean because I really wanted them. I knew I was taking a chance when I made the purchase, however I can state that I have been fortunate enough in this world to the extent that the $$ I paid is insignificant to me.  And if I got scammed, I would feel bad for chilibean that he would have to resort to such tactics to scam me for a measly $180

I'm sure he F'd up in the past and that has done him some irreparable damage... but i'm just going to report that my cigars were shipped same day, got a DC same day, I received authentic cigars in 2 days, and they were very securely packaged and protected.  Would I purchase stuff from him on a regular basis? probably not... could he be trying to rebuild a reputation in order to facilitate future scams? I don't know maybe. Or maybe he is just someone who fucked up in the past and is now a better and more mature person.

A good read showing why it isn't good to deal with scammers who claim to have turned things around.  Once a thief, always a thief.
