I disagree. It looks like it was stacked and they dropped something very heavy on it. This would compress it on the top and bottom.

LOL, in this stacking scenario, would it have been on the bottom or top?  Dropped, a foot stomp, or a board?  Based on the box dimensions and the dimensions of the jar in box, I would think it would have been (or at least) should have been aligned the same way.  If it was stacked and then something dropped, it would cause breakage from the side, whereas the break pattern of the lid and the below jar portion below show that pressure was applied to the jar in box directly.  I would like to see what kind of packing was used inside the shipping box, because the breakage pattern is inconsistant with the way that box is crushed.  Something just smells fishy here.    :gotcha:

Yes you are right something does smell fishy here. I should have said the box was dropped from the ninth floor of my office building. No wait. Actually I ran over it with my wife's SUV. No that's not it either. I had an elephant step on the box forcing the sides to bust out and crush the jar. Ah damn that's not either. Honestly, I don't know what the fu*k USPS did. I wasn't home when the box was dropped off while I was at work and no signature was required to receive the package. Otherwise had I been home when the package was delivered, I would have asked the USPS guy what happened to the box. Then I would have call your @ss up to so you could question him yourself. Tell ya what, I'll give you a 75% off deal and sell you the busted jar. I'll then send you the box and all the packaging material that was used to ship it so you can perform your CSI wannabe skills on it and give us your expert analysis on just how the box was crushed and the exact impact areas on where the jar was busted.

Or! If you look at my avatar to the left you'll see the yellow Cohiba jar, the box, and the "please ignore" hammer in the bottom right of the picture.

Let me know soon so I can go pull it out of the trash before the garbage man runs in the morning.

How generous! Now, is that 75% off $500, or 75% off a realistic price?? :poke:

Pictures still don't explain why you told the guy to pound sand after he replaced your jar.  Mike bent over backwards to make this deal right, and all you wanted to to was fuck him over.  Oh, I know, 'details' that we don't know about.  Still waiting.

This

And why you were selling and empty jar for $500!

An why you are sending a "$500" product without any packing material etc.

Very shaky deal from the start.

I think he actually did post his explanation ITT already... he said he had concerns that the replacement jar he was sent was not authentic.
