Tap86's not the hero OLH deserves, but the one OLH needed right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it.

Shit is so lame, I do like the idea of unilateral pricing for vendors, I hate when b&m gouge. I remember when speaker companies did that in the 90's.

I wouldn't mind if the store charged me $18X for the dress and $130 for not dress, but when stores charge $350 for a dress that's bullshit. Is it really worth gouging those 30 boxes per year?

Taps86 - BOTL or Douchebag?

Post by Hollywood79 »

It's worse with booze I love how we have a state minimum but not a maximum, for example I called a local store for orphan barrel lost prophet, they were charging 325, I ended buying for 129 from another place. It's disgusting that they are allowed to do that.

I don't feel the need to prove it when I have proven the guy to be a liar and fraud over and over in here.  Shouldn't the burden of proof at some point turn to the person that has been in question over and over.  Plus I hope the money did go to the cause he said but my opinion is I would HIGHLY doubt it unless I saw proof or the transaction with my own 2 eyes.

What I don't get is how the people in this forum can read this thread and decide to stick up for a guy that has been a proven liar and scumbag over and over on here.  That is why this place is a joke and has so much drama and stealing on it.  People don't want to believe what is right in front of their face for some reason.

It's your choice to trust this guy with your hard earned money but when I see someone doing the shady things like he has in past I question where my money is really going.

I asked you a simple question and you resorted to linking the topic on hand in this thread to past things (that you claimed to have proven). Sounds like generalization.

I am sure you've heard the following: it's now what you know, it's what you can prove. That applies here unequivocally.

That being said, I haven't been long enough to know what's going on here with Taps and others but I've seen him take the side of people who were victim of theft and try to help them like no others.

I think what he was asking was for you to prove, in any way, that you actually donated the funds to the relief effort.  Which by the way, you seem to have missed getting accomplished.

I didn't say you hadn't kept your end of the bargain, just pointed out that you failed to provide proof.  I'm part of a private board where we do any annual fundraiser and sometimes others during the year.  Even there, where everybody know everybody, accountability and transparency are excepted.

I lived in Nashville during the 2010 flood and trust me, I helped out plenty.  Not just my money but my time as well.  Not for a few events, but nightly for weeks.  I didn't purchase your stuff because I personally don't like you, or I guess I should say, your online antics.

I thinks its great that your helping your community.  However, when you post the purpose of your sale is to help said community, you should be prepared to validate the fact that funds actually found their way there when openly challenged to do so.

Once again, when someone doesn't fall in line with your thinking, you resort to personal attacks instead of addressing the issue.  For what its worth, I believe you probably donated the funds, but that's not the issue.

STOP BEING A BULLY.... address issues rationally.
