No doubt the Rosado's are better. I sat with Rick smoking one when I bought both the boxes and he agreed that the Rosado's were better as well.

I don't follow. There is only Rosado and Reserva. There is no 3rd Federal 90th to my knowledge. Since you didn't ge the Reserva, what do you mean by 'I got a box of each' ?

Agreed, but it's funny to watch the whiners come out in full force. 

This is the last time I’ll post and the last time I will visit this thread, as it has gotten out of hand and is bringing down the integrity of this great site.

I made a mistake by posting a price on the Rosados that was deemed to be too high and I apologize if it offended anyone.

It’s now gone, as is the entire sale.

While some have very angrily and rudely posted their displeasure, I will once again post up a fact amongst all of the unfounded opinions: [i]The pricing on the Rosados was based on actual past sales, and not created out of nowhere.[/i] I based my pricing according to these sales, with no attempt to gouge anyone, nor offend anyone.

Here is how the price was reached…

The market value of any item is just that:The price that the market is willing pay. The following prices [i]are what have been paid[/i] for a box of Rosados since their original release: [b]$475, $450, and $425.[/b] That puts the [b]average[/b] at [b]$450.[/b] Since I posted the sale at $475, all the cries of profiteering are for me pricing a box at just [i]$25 more than the average![/i] Come on guys….[i]Really? [/i]Twenty five bucks?

Sure, I get and appreciate that you were all looking out for each other, and that’s great. But $25 is NOT a large mark up, and the accusations of “gouging” nor “profiteering” are simply laughable.

Again….Look at the facts, and hopefully you will have the pride to admit that this whole thing was just blown out of proportion by folks with limited understanding.

If you don’t like the price, I respect that 100%....Move on. Just don’t rush to a conclusion based on your opinion, when the facts prove otherwise.

So all you haters have to ask yourself one question: If not one, not two, but THREE other people were willing to pay an average of $450 on a box of Rosados, who are you to say that I am gouging?

It dont matter to me what you sell it for.  If its something I want and cant get and I'm willing to pay you, I will.  There are just too many forum police here that really bitch about anything over MSRP, which I dont care for. 

Thats what the BZ section is for, to call out ppl selling over MSRP, so let it be. 

But if someone wants it, thats their decision.

Search function may be broken on every forum I'm aware of. I wasn't able to find any FS threads with prices such as those mentioned. I could give two shits about what the selling price is. I'm just sayin...

It's because he made them up.  The rosados have consistently been offered here at $55 a fiver.  I even bought one at that price that included an extra.  Not to mention the Reservas being offered by non gouging scumbags for $60 a fiver. 

As long as he tells himself they are rare and "HTF" he won't get it.

Just a question of those claiming "gouging", how can this be? Are cigars daily essentials?  No, they are luxuries, not food, gas, clothing, medicine, shelter, or any thing needed to preserve our life, property, or limb.  This is just a bunch of 'grown' men pissing and moaning at some perceived injustice they see.  No longer is it good enough for some to just move along, they need to say how horrible a travesty that is being done in the name of 'BOTL'.  I am really getting tired of this mantra being thrown around like it is some blood pact we have sworn too and an edict that everyone must follow.  99.9% of these 'BOTL' we will never meet, never smoke with, never break bread, or drink together, let alone have the chance to when really needed come through for another as some fictitious "BOTL'.  As always, someone, somewhere is gonna get their panties in a wad over something, people just need to feel better about themselves in this area, I guess.  Everyone has true 'BOTL' that we know and could call up and they would be there for us in a time of need.  You know what, they are called friends, hey and they just happen to smoke cigars too.  However, being a 'BOTL' does not hold them to a higher standard then my other friends.  Just smoke cigars, enjoy life with your family and friends and quite trying to save the world from these perceived  injustices.  How about devoting your time to saving baby seals, or feeding the homeless, or whatever passion you have. I guess some people's passion is standing up for the poor cigar smoker who knows no better.  Hell, your freaking Mother Theresa of the cigar world, I know I feel better for having you watch over us with name calling and berating of anyone who does not agree with your 'ideals'.  I guess some people have nothing else better to do to make themselves feel better than just smoking cigars.
