Randomhero, after your reply about "what varnish" I am done. If you are that clueless no one can help you. No matter what you say about the Ducati, the facts speak for themselves. Excuses do not make it any better. It is still a fact that he did not give the Ducati away. In any business if you are going to be stupid and do stupid things you better be tuff. I do enjoy this banter, the more it goes on the more it proves me right about the drama with this brand of cigar. No one has proven me wrong yet. I will be waiting for more.

Simple reason I like them and others like them. Yes you do flap your gums. Enjoy whatever it is you smoke and give them Tat bashing a break. We all get it you don't like them.

You give it a break. Don't like it move on. I am glad you like that brand. You are the one who has an issue with me not liking them.

Varnished vs unvarnished:
Loser CB here did not know either so I looked it up:
It refers to the box.
One is varnished and the other isn't. The varnished box is generally preferred for aging as the varnish seals the pores in the wood thus reducing the amount of oxygen exchanging inside the box.
As to which is preferred as far as taste goes, that is entirely up to each individual. For the most part the two cigars are different vitolas as in the case of the Partagas 898 and 898v.

First time I ever heard called "wet box". Still waiting for all takers to prove me wrong on any of this. If you have no proof, just move on. No more to see here.

Correct.. The unVarnished boxed are for retail stores to sell singles. The varnished boxed are to sold by the box.

I know what varnished and unvarnished boxes are... I just wanted to know what Lakeside meant by "varnish cigars."
Is it that difficult to explain what you mean?
Does anyone else know what he means? I'd like to know.
