Message John and he can put a sampler pack together. When I started with him right before Covid hit, he sent me a pair of everything he had at the time. I've been hooked ever since.

Solid advice.

I've been blowing through some LC Celestialies Finos from 2017.  I don't know if it's the power of suggestion, but I swear it's the RyJ blend in a discontinued RyJ vitola.

I like the EL, but Cohiba was always more of a change of pace cigar for me, even when I was flush with cash (I don't buy shit for CC anymore).  My favorite EL has got to be the La Reina, though they need a lot more age before I'm going to check again as it's just a waste, otherwise.

Please post a review after you fire one of these up!

These are my favorite as well. It's a shame they are no longer available.

E2 Gran Reserva Review - grain of salt here boys...10 hours removed from the freezer...

Cigar is gorgeous...deep red corojo wrapper..i cherry picked this one from the bundle..weight is on the lighter side..should draw...

Spicy start on the lips...not a rich smoke on the pallate...yes it smacks partagas right off the bat..tons of smoke easy draw.

Tastes like a good E2...have had plenty of them to know...not next level but very enjoyable. Linear smoke for the first half...easy going...not weighty in the mouth at all...a little thin?

No changes...consistent...never gets bitter. Solid 91 all the way through.

Im a JO fanboi so this was a must have for the stash...have to revisit in a month or so to give it a fair shake.

For same price would go espy or 6 next time...those are 95s all day but this is a nice change of pace.

Thanks for the review and for sacrificing an early stick.

I just finished a WF RE that I got in early July. 6 1/8 x 50.
Right from the start it was definitely Monte. Seems to be same size as Double Edmundo but I have never had one of them so I can't say for sure.
1st 1/2 was on the mild side of medium. coco, chocolate and earth but more earth than anything.
2nd 1/2 is where this really took off. Strength picked up considerably as well as all of the above flavors and the finish was excellent. Construction was also excellent but draw was just slightly on the light side for me.
These are still young but you can tell these are going to age well if you can leave them alone. If your a fan of Montes then I highly recommend.
The WF lanceros I have from early 2020 are also Monte. Same size as the especial. Also excellent and have really turned into an awesome smoke in the last 6 months or so.

The WF's don't get as much love as the EL line but they are very good quality smokes for those of us that are on a limited budget.

This is one of the few times I'm going to disagree with MB. Smoked a couple back to back and I think these are mid 90s cigars easy from a ratings perspective. These have incredible aging potential. I think like some of John's other offerings, these will be a limited run.
