I will hope everyone gets made whole too but I'm guessing it will happen only through CC or Paypal or Venmo..
At this point it looks like this Asshole had a well thought out plan, splooged on a bunch of good people and got away Scott free.
My condolences to all that got taken. I've lost stuff too in the cigar/online world. FN Sucks.
I hate to say this but the first clue is he/she has been registered here for less than 2 months!!

You have a solid point. I looked over that and took the positive feedback he had as enough. I totally agree with you though, that's a huge giveaway that I should've took into consideration. I had senses that something felt off, but as someone else here said, greed overtook the fear.

I've done that too.....to the point where as soon as I click PAY I've said to myself..."Shit, I didn't do my due diligence. I probably just screwed myself." And then it turns out to be true. FN scammers!!!!!

Under federal law, the crime of Wire Fraud is a Class C felony, punishable by up to twenty years in prison, three years of supervised release, and $250,000 in fines. Additionally, complete restitution will be ordered and any property obtained from the proceeds of the offense will be confiscated.
He's going to be behind bars soon. Hope it was worth the few grand that will be returned anyways :ordr:

Buddy I don't mean to put you down, honest. But in all the years I've been buying, selling, and trading online, I've seen it all. One thing I haven't seen is someone go to jail for a scam they ran on these pages/groups. They either refund, or we never hear from them again. That's just how it is sadly. But by all means, do what you can. It seem he used a fake name and a lot of fake info.

If he was smart he'd be using a PO box.

Sure, you have a point. But he was using a federal owned PO box :mail: to commit wire fraud. Anytime someone applies to get one, you have to fill a form called a PS1093. Just quickly review how much info they need from you if you want to get one.. https://about.usps.com/forms/ps1093.pdf
As you can see, they request lots of info. Info that points directly to him. He cant run away from this. As long as he's chased down (which he will be), they will be able to get this info from the PS1093 he filed with the USPS. On top of that, now the United States Postal Inspection Service would be involved.

He's not as clever as he thinks he is. The PS1093 he filed with the USPS to get his PO box will be obtained by LE and it will point them to who and where he is. The only way he truly could run from this is if he goes to Mexico :ordr:
