Some days when I gripe about the absolute lack of any artistic ability in modern hip-hop and pop music I swear I sound like my father.  Ever since Whitney re-made "I will always love you" every pop singer out there, and the listening public in general has associated caterwauling with talent.

Then there is the absolute dearth of  lyrical talent in most of the crap.  Yea, there may be some, but the stoned hippies of the 60s and 70s were in many cases college educated, their writing often evoked classical literature,  [i]White Rabbit, Whiter Shade of Pale, and Ramble On[/i] to mention a few.  In that vein I give you:

If ONLY this was a complete joke - but it's not. This is the ABJECT crap of modern day - every day music in our world. It is a stain I hope and pray is wiped away in our not too distant future.
