Not at all. Discuss anything you want. But attacking a fellow member, calling them a fucking moron etc, may not build a climate that brings in new members or make folks want to visit.
Totally agree CB. Just because it's the Battle Zone doesn't mean it cannot be civil.

I also don't disagree with you there, thanks for clarifying.

Nor does price gouging....yet it is happening.

This site does not foster a safe or trustworthy trading environment in any way. I wouldn't even consider getting involved here as a new member with the way things have been recently.

I guess I see it a little differently. I totally support anyone wanting to sell their (legitimate) stuff here for whatever price they want to, as long as they're prepared to have someone disagree with their pricing (free country and all). At the same time I know for myself personally, I'm not interested in buying a lot of the stuff posted here because I'm not convinced of the provenance... I still like looking and having my own thoughts on everything, I just don't feel bad about "missing" out on something because I don't trust the seller, the price is wrong, or whatever...
I like what Wade has here, and I'm cool with it being free and open as it is. Now, if someone wants to tell me that there are good and reputable traders that absolutely refuse to post their goodies for sale here because of the atmosphere, THEN I think maybe it's time to consider changing the status quo.
Just my 2 cents.

You cannot prevent a scumbag from showing up on any website, or in person for that matter, but good communication between, and cooperation amongst decent folk will help prevent the scumbags from being a permanent fixture. This site seems to me to be no worse in regards to scumbags than any other, and it is certainly better than many IMHO.

What this place really needs is the Mafia to protect it.
"And all they got from Paulie was protection from other guys looking to rip them off. And that's what it's all about. That's what the FBI could never understand. That what Paulie and the organization does is offer protection for people who can't go to the cops. That's it. That's all it is. They're like the police department for wiseguys."

Define 'scumbag'.
TL and the large 'Dunhill' issue aside, there are more gougers than in a first year wood dorking class!
The problem lies when someone gets crap that's fake or two high priced ...then then put it in a pass or sell it high on another board...when they didn't have to get it at as high a price.
This site morphed from what it was....an outlet for CF to post prices. I hope Wade can/will see what he can do to not have the issue so rampant.
