Absolutely, but the mold issue  affected the wrapper leaf more than filler, which was a big problem.
I remember one wrapper strain being referred to as kevlar leaf, it was so thick and non
pliant like tank armor. Also quality was compromised after the Russians stopped subsidizing
the entire Cuban economy, they couldnt get raw materials, like fertilizers, or new shade cloth.
1992 i think it was.

What I find interesting is you started a thread, beefed with some people and disappeared for part of a day.  While you you were gone reasonable and measured discussion took place, ideas were exchanged.  Then you came back all "NO ONE AGREE WITH FAMILY GUY, FAMILY GUY SMASH!!!!!!" which really only works for the Hulk as a logical argument because he weighs 400 lbs and can bench press a bus.  Since only half of that statement is true for you maybe you should try a new modus operandi?

Also if it matters, I know Matt as well.  Like I can actually pick him out of a lineup, I have smoked with him many times and own MANY cigars that started their journey with him. 

But lets call a spade a spade, which would be much funnier if you knew me I suppose: You know Jack and shit about vintage cigars clearly if you think there are many sources for 90s Lusis.  Are these sources saying their sisters aunts cousins brother in law snuck them out of the factory and cared for them meticulously for the last 20 years then suddenly gave up the ghost and decided to sell them to you for $400 a box?  You should buy those before the rest of us meet that janitor who owns a wealth of CCs.

I'm just going to throw this out there for your consideration. Really, you are doing a great job articulating your points and don't need me to help, but, I want to help you anyways, even if its in some pithy, insignificant way.

You are belaboring the fact that the post is gone and therefore the seller must have realized his sheer idiocy and retracted them. What I'd like you bring to your attention is that the seller, if you'll recall, was selling three items: the LGC Jar, a box of BHK 52s and the shitty 93 Lusis in question. I have conducted extensive research into the matter, interviewed witness, examined histories, etc. and was shocked, shocked, to learn that the BHK post was also deleted. Here is the kicker though, and make sure you are sitting for this, the BHKs sold!

I don't know what this means, you'll have to draw your own conclusions there. Surely, no one paid for those 93 Lusis when 2010 Lusis could be had for a fraction of the price, that would be preposterous. What then is Sandman trying to tell us by deleting that post? That is the mystery wrapped in the enigma here. That, my white knight of vintage cigars, is in your hands to discover.
