Yeah trump is definitely erratic. And an asshole often times. He's not very humble either and I think he's his own worst enemy second only to the media. They've had a raging hard on for him forever. I personally can't blame him for some of his behavior but other times it's like really?
Plenty of things I don't like about the guy but I can look past the bs and appreciate many of the things that he's done. I like what's happened to my retirement too. Barely moved before he came along.
He's not much of a uniter, people say that and I have to agree. But we were divided way before he ever came along. He just doesn't make it much better. I think he's like to, but I don't think he knows how and too many people wouldn't let him.
I don't know! I hope some more people chime in with some opinions. It's kind of a fun discussion as long as nobody feels like they have to be a dick about it.

I miss the days when there were moderates on both sides. From an immigrant perspective, the two party system and the electoral college bullshit are what is to blame for the current state of affairs. We are fucked.

Trump wins pretty easily imo. These bs media polls had killary winning by a million....how’d that workout?
Both guys are complete clowns but Biden can barely formulate a sentence. I think a lot of voters on the fence will vote for their wallet and want the tax cuts Trump put in place and the pump of the market....
I’m pretty exited to watch it all unfold on election night. The looney lefties in this country going to melt down.

And that's part of the problem. Most people do NOT know that we are a constitutional representative REPUBLIC and not a democracy. So no straight mob vote. There are reasons the founders of this great country did what they did in the Constitution, but if you've never taken a U.S. history class, you wouldn't know anything about it.
The Ellectoral College ensures that all states in the Union have a say in Federal elections. Otherwise we would be ruled largely by 4 states: California, Florida, New York, and Texas. Nobody else would really have much of a say.

I agree. The media can't be trusted no matter what. They fabricate just about everything nowadays. If Biden wins, he's not in office for a month before he is replaced and I think most people know that. The guy clearly has dementia or something else wrong with him, he doesn't even know where he is half the time.
Trump is going to win by a country mile.

I fully understand the difference.
We have a fundamental difference in opinion here - I firmly believe every citizen's vote should count equally (or, as you call it, a "straight mob vote"). The reasons the founders had for establishing the electoral college have been invalid for a hundred years but of course none of the grossly overrepresented states with a small population would ever support changing the constitution.
Ergo: We're still fucked

All the votes do count. You seen to misunderstand that but for the EC, the smaller states in the Union would have practically no say in the election. This is what the map would look like with what you want, mob rule. The reasons for the EC are still valid today. Dems just don't like it because if it weren't for the EC, the country would have to follow the fucked up ways of Cali and NY. States that are beyond fucked with their policies, which is why they are all moving to TEXAS!!! And if you think we're fucked, there are plenty of doors. Go somewhere else.

We’re not fucked. Day to day lives barely change from president to president. We’re gonna be just fine. That said, let’s go Trump. Pump Trump hopefully returns the market on its path to the moon

And looks like the markets are well on their way. Dow back up over 28,500, not too far off of it's all time high of 29,551 back in February. We'll be just fine. Yeah, I don't recall much change whatsoever going from Clinton to Bush, Bush to Obama, and Obama to Trump.
Even when Bush put tighter limits on anything from Cuba back in the early 00's, I don't remember anything drastically changing. People just bitching, that's about it.

Reading comprehension much? I said count EQUALLY. And yes, I am saying the smaller states don't deserve to have a disproportional say in the election.
We're fucked because of the increasing extremism. I'm not going anywhere, though.
