He would have to sell his car and his wife's to pay people back. I don't see it happening. almost 10 boxes of behikes, over 20 bundles of Custom rolls for $315 each...multiple LGC boxes....shit he can't afford to pay that back.

I was never siding with him. I just gave my opinion that I doubted that he knew, that's all. Although, I haven't read a fraction of what's out there, I just saw the pictures of the fake box which looked damn good.

No matter how stand up the guy is and how good his intentions were, if he was selling enough and was deep enough, there is no way people are getting their money back. Guys who flip cigars most likely aren't flush with cash. Like Ramon said, he would literally have to sell off his assets to cover it. Ain't gonna happen

I also have no dog in this fight. I couldn't care less. I'm not even involved in the cigar community anymore. I just like checking the bz on occasion when I'm bored at work lol. Looks like I got out at a good time haha

They kicker me off the page for saying they should mind their business when it comes to private sales. Trying to tell people not to pm a guy who was selling a massive collection. Habana hideaway is run by aiders and abetters.
I believe they're in cahoots.

Considering the cover up, censorship of opposing views, fanboying, and lack of thorough info being presented...I would have to guess that they are all complicit in this.  Or they just have such a fondness to him that theyre willing to compromise what reputations they have to protect a known fake seller.

They huddled up for days then started a disinformation campaign to form the shield, claiming even that the Christian guy he bought from was selling to every major seller and selling 20k boxes a month.  Please....rumor was that some of the Siglos were questioned as early as October but it was buried as an anomaly to keep the scam going.  The guy who outed the whole thing by tying the barcode duplicates together got banned too.  I wonder why.  Is he the bad guy?  Only if you're the one(s) being outed.

These BHK fakes were not so good that no one woudlve noticed.  The date code font was suspect as was the serial font.  Microprinting looked weird.  The guy selling these on his page was someone who had been known to call out fakes in the past for any glaring minor issue.  So he either knew they were fake or let the profits blind his instincts, either way he owes a lot of debts and at some point probably bails on them(my opinion).

He won't pay....unless he hits the lottery lol. Even if they were real cigars, in fake boxes....he should of known by the numbers on the boxes. His own "friend" admitted that he had fakes from him early on and this was never brought up. They claim that "after a thorough investigation" they have found that "Christian is part of a fraud cigar network and is selling up to 2k boxes per month". 2k boxes of cigars? So you're telling me this guy goes to this post office and drops off 70 boxes per day? Pleeeeeease.

I read around for another hour or so and I don't know if all these guys in h2 are complicit. Looks like they backed off and tried to gather information before this spread like a wildfire. Looks like they embellished Christians reach in the cigar world. But even Ravi had seen the guy before and is at trade shows so he is at least out there. Some of those guys in h2 have been around a long time and some aren't even involved in Cubans like Chris S. Only weird thing I noticed was how little they wanted to give off on Christian. And why they wouldn't say who Christian was supplying in the grey market. It looks like the questionable siglo you mentioned was one guy asking for a refund. Hardly Denis knowing at that point he had fake siglos...

I've sold maybe 25 or so boxes of bhk in the last few years and smoked 2 boxes myself and they would have fooled me. Transit stickers, holos on the seal, barcodes runs, good bands. Who out there goes beyond running barcodes unless you're pedaling Reservas? Let's be real. I'm just glad it didn't happen to me to be honest.

I'm not vouching for the guy,  letting him off the hook, validating his actions, implying he isn't at fault. But I really think that some elaborate h2 scheme is quite a stretch. I think they definitely extended some extra grace and protection to one of their admins and possible group founders. I still don't think people are getting their money back, because I doubt Denis has the cash to cover the losses he paid on the product, let alone the mark up he made on them.

I know it sucks for people to get scammed, but 10 boxes of bhk? That's hardly a drop in the bucket of some of the scams I've seen

Also, if this Christian guy really was slinging tons of these, I'd recommend that no one buy 3rd party bhk... Especially the guys getting them straight out of Cuba which seems to be the latest trend

[/quote]Sorry, to clarify I was referring to the Cuban exchange group he ran, not HH.  I'm not a member there so I can't speak of the guys there.
