THIS??

If so that is why everyone thinks Reed is a fucking jackass and doesn't pay him any respect.

It especially bothers me because I was the one who outed Chili on the new name. He had something listed, and some positive TC's so I bit. It wasn't til I sent the money on pisspail and noticed his name in the confirmation e-mail that flagged my attention. I spoke with an elder at CF to ensure I had the right guy, and his debts weren't settled, and that elder started a thread before I could get home from work. I was concerned with him having my addy and living roughly 2 hours away, I could potentially be setting myself up for a headache down the road, but I felt it was important to let it be known anyways. I will say I never received any sort of threat... but you just never know.

It's nice to know people like RNaka don't give 2 shits about the well being of others, as long as he can find a deal and doesn't get fucked. People like him perpetuate the cycle. Sorry, /rant off.

For those who aren't on CF, an interesting read.

There are some who try to disguise the fact that they are scumbags, and there are some who embrace it. You guys decide.

Edit: I also realize that this is not the appropriate thread, so out of respect for the two who are currently having their dispute settled this will be my last post regarding the chilibean situation. My apologies.

How old are you? I spoke with an "elder"?

For those who care to understand the full context and not just Taps86's version of events......

A bit younger than you, but irrelevant. I meant someone who had been on CF since the 90's, and has over twice as many positive TC's as you have posts on here.

Did your post have any relevance other than questioning my age?
atleast that racist Rnaka uses his proper handle here, and I can respect that. I am thinking he is an ok guy, and not the whining cunt I used to think he was. Rnaka, you are turning out to be alright in my book.

Seems to still mean a bit on CF, just not OLH.

Although, I have bought from Kona before. I referenced the scumbag list, knew he was extremely tardy on a trade and eventually made right, and took my chances. And my purchase went without a hitch.

I don't feel like you putting Roy in the same category as the thieves and scammers is warranted, IMO. Not saying he should be taken off the list... just saying.
I have said it before and will say it again - not all infractions on the list are created equal (one of the reasons it is the 'bad trader and scumbag list').  In my opinion, although it made/makes sense that Roy was dinged for poor trading etiquette, he is not remotely in the same class as Froggy or a wealth of others.  The list provides guidance on past behavior for people to do with what they will, caveat emptor.

Now.. if people aren't capable of using personal discretion and logic in deciding whether they are more likely to get screwed by someone (or shunned by the community) for trading with a known thief or fake peddler vs. someone on the list for being slow in delivery, I don't think there is much that can be done to help them.  Maybe they need a strong father figure to teach them about judicious/ethical decision making (I'm all booked up but here is some free advice - a fool and his money are soon parted).

Soerry for the double post but why hasn't anyone contacted Rob in Oz about this? I'm sure he can shed some light on this.
