Buy low sell high. Business 101 if you ask me. Not sure why there is so much butthurt. I enjoy some of DE 'premium' line but won't lose any sleep if they go away or decline in quality. Far to many other awesome choices available to ping my 'give a fuck meter'.

Yes, I've smoked quite a few of both. Of all the Family Reserves, I would say the 50th is most similar to the 45th in terms of flavor, depth and complexity. As far as the 80th goes, it's a little different as the Family Reserves are all based on the 1964 blend wherein the 80th is not a family reserve and it is based on the 1926 blend.
I have my notes on all three if you'd like for me to give you a more in depth comparison in case I didn't fully answer your question.

Thanks for the insight.  The 45th and 80th are leaps and bounds ahead of the others like the 40, 44, 46 to me I was curious as to how the 50th stacks up.

If you enjoy the 45, I have no doubt that you will love the 50 as well. If you decide to smoke a couple, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Just sent a little note to swisher, inc.

I just re-capped them on what went down with Cigarnut reporting the deal, being threatened with a lawsuit, and how, ultimately, cigarnut was not and is not a principal to the deal (therefore not bound by a nondisclosure.)  Obviously, that fat fuck John Drew or one of his cum catchers must have squealed.  When it was realized that this early reporting would show someone high up had disclosed no-no information, they sought to threaten and scare a decent cigar-smoking, hard-working american into silence.

I told them that this was highly offensive to me and I will NEVER buy a Drew Estate product again and that I will be telling all of my cigar-smoking friends about this abusive behavior towards a customer.

I'd love to see Swisher dump John Drew.  Swisher can weather the upcoming FDA nonsense. Can they weather having a douche who enrages customers for a new business partner?

It's not about bringing down a corporation, chief.  It's about voting with a dollar.
