Smll2....the bands are not fake...the photo is to show the disparity in ring guage.
No...I am not a mod and didn't do anything to anyones account or any such thing.

Mike... I was wrong in saying these are fake.
My premise was that these were from the same box and there was no way that the RG could be that far off...really really off. I didn't even catch myself when I wrote that they were from two boxes.
My apologies.

As for vendors selling fakes....yes, it happens. There was a cuban official that had been providing boxes and labels and selling non factory product in the gray market.

Channeling my inner Rodney King ...

Gary/Mike - I know both of you to greater or lesser degrees. If it helps resolve the situation, I will buy the 5 remaining CoRos in question at their pro-rated cost.

Gary - I understand your concerns and am offering you a way out from under this without the further concern they'll be resold. I won't re-sell them and promise to smoke them myself. Maybe we can do a PPP with one in Worcester or at my herf in July. ( you're coming, right?  :bounce:)

Mike - I've bought maybe a couple thousand dollars worth of cigars from you directly or indirectly over the years. Never had a problem, and no one ever forced me to buy. If you say they're CoRos, I'm good.

G- lemme know if this makes sense, and if so, how you want pmt.

Glad to see this is working out. Mike you are one of my favorite vendors. Waiting on my latest order now. And of course, Gary, your signature shows how we are connected!

Great coffee, cigars and whiskey. Love them all.

If Gary really thought that they were fakes he would have taken my offer and returned them. I have made this offer numerous times. I buy all my cigars from PE, COH, Staggs, DG, or other reputable vendors.....

Don Gabriel is NOT a reputable vendor. He has a reputation, yes, but it's NOT a good one. He has sold cigars rolled by his rollers and put into Cuban cigar boxes. He was exposed, but recently came back onto the scene by sponsoring a cigar board.

That being said, I, personally, would not think twice about buying cigars from Mike. JMO tho :)

Is there a link or anything to this discussion?  I'd be interested in reading for my own information.

I thought DG just opened an LCDH not too long ago?  I guess it doesn't mean sh!t, but the association certainly gives him some cache.
