I loved the old CAO Lanceros.  I think they quit making them in '01?
Yeah they did stop in '01.  The lancero was a good stick.

Hate to have to say it, but I added another one to the list just last night.  And this one is a rel shame too.  I smoked a CI Legends by Pepin.  Should have known better, but went ahead anyway.

The wrapper split like size 6 Levis on a fat chick.

How did it taste?  Can't really say.  I pitched it after about an inch.

Over the last 20 years I have smoked just about every cigar, but I am most ashamed of the flavored cigars, except for my Avanti's  :)

When I first started smoking, I tried a Macanudo.  And liked it.  Worse, I began to look for them whenever I'd go to a B&M.  That lasted about 6 months.  Then, I began ordering from JR.  I bought a sampler that contained 5 "La Escepcion Series IV Tapa Negra."  I thought I was so impressive with my cigar that had maduro at the cap and foot and a name that was ridiculously long.  I ordered them a second time.  :o

On the bright side, not long after that, I had my first Ashton, an Aged Maduro # 20. And not long after that, my first Fuente, a Chateau Fuente Maduro, and then, later, a Chateau Fuente SG.  Needless to say, my perspective was changed forever.

I was never been able to enjoy those 'discounted' cigars since.  :gotcha:  and soon quit trying to.
